This policy explains how Amélie & Félix: Catch Captain! (“Catch Captain”) handles information. The game is published by Bestest Boy Studios, Nottingham, United Kingdom.
Information used by the game
If you submit a score, Catch Captain stores the three-letter initials you enter, your score, selected character, the time of submission and a randomly generated run identifier. This information is used only to operate the public scoreboard. Please do not enter your name or other personal information as your initials.
Your sound, feedback and control preferences, saved initials and personal best score may be stored locally on your device. This local information is not used to identify you.
Advertising
The Android app uses Google Mobile Ads. During the closed test it uses Google test advertisements. Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and share an IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud-prevention purposes. An IP address may be used to estimate a device’s general location. Data sent by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.
Google acts under its own terms and privacy policy. You can learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and manage your advertising ID through your Android device settings.
Sharing and retention
Scoreboard entries are displayed publicly to other players. We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that host the game, scoreboard or advertising services. Scores may be removed periodically or when reasonably requested.
Children
Catch Captain is not directed specifically at children under 13 and does not knowingly request personal information from children. Players should use non-identifying initials on the scoreboard.
Your choices
You can play without submitting a scoreboard entry. You can clear locally stored game information by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling it. To ask about or request removal of a scoreboard entry, contact us and include the displayed initials and score.
