Powder & Plunder

Captain the studio dog gives his seal of approval

Four rival captains, one restless archipelago. Sail between islands, intercept merchant convoys, contest ports and get stolen cargo safely home before another fleet cuts your route.

Short turn-based naval encounters would settle fleet battles and raids. The results carry back to the map: damaged ships, captured cargo and control of the sea lanes all matter.

Four captains

Boarding, navigation, gunnery and smuggling each have a visible signature command. Every captain uses the same ships and rules.

Raid, then return

A successful convoy raid loads cargo onto your ships. It only becomes spendable when you bring it through a viable route to your hideout.

Brief encounters

Fleet battles and convoy raids share one tactical sea board. Fort assaults, boarding and cave runs add short action challenges.

Where the idea stands

This is an early game concept. The first playable version would test a small sea-lane map, neutral convoys, three ship roles and an eight-round contest with one human captain and three AI rivals. Captain identities, exact values and final artwork are still open.

Concept illustrations show the intended atmosphere and possible encounters; they are not gameplay screenshots.
